Attendwise Aps' processing of data in Apps

The description below applies to Attendwise's license solution ConferenceCommunicator EventApp (including the MesseLead function). As a Customer, (event organizer) at Attendwise, you may be asked by your users how you process data in the app. You are welcome to refer them to the description below. If you have any questions as a customer at Attendwise, please contact us. If you have questions as a user of the app, contact your supplier (event organizer).

Attendwise develops and offers Apps for Android and iOS. The following Apps are covered by our description of the processing of personal data (on behalf of our customers - the data controllers): ConferenceCommunicator EventApp (and MesseLead)

In general

The above-mentioned App is offered as a License solution (B2B), and Attendwise Aps is in that connection the Data Processor for this solution, where the customer is the Data Controller. Data is processed in accordance with current legislation on the processing of personal data (GDPR).

Attendwise Aps documents the technical and organizational processing of data in the Data Processing Agreement entered into with the customer. It is the Data Controller (customer) who determines which data is collected and stored and determines how long data is stored (and is responsible for deletion).

All inquiries regarding the processing of personal data must be addressed to the Data Controller (the customer) and not Attendwise Aps. Should you be in doubt about who the Data Controller is (who offers you one of the above solutions), you can contact Attendwise at kontakt@attendwise.com and get the name of your Data Controller.

Update and maintenance

Attendwise Aps develops and maintains apps in accordance with current requirements for updates from the owners (Apple and Google) of the operating systems. Attendwise Aps continuously updates apps (builds/new version) so that they are functional at least two generations back (operating system versions).

Rights management

With regard to access to functions in the user's smartphone such as access to location, calendar and permission to receive push messages, Attendwise's apps for Android and iOS support rights management specified by the operating system used. The app only asks for permission for the functions that are important for the app's functionality in order to provide the user with a specific service (experience). If the user does not want this access, he/she is free to reject the use.

The first time the user needs to use a given function, the app will ask the user for access to this function. This means that the individual user can block access if he/she does not wish to use a given function. If the user has first either given permission or rejected a given function, he/she can remove or grant access to rights at any time under the settings for the app.

Since Attendwise is a data processor and not a data controller, it is your supplier (the one who offers you to use the app) that you must contact if you have specific questions regarding the processing of data in the app.
